Accounts Receivable Specialist

FundThrough is looking for a resourceful and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join us on our mission to help business owners end the “wait” associated with payment terms.

  • Manage assigned A/R portfolio.
  • Review open invoices to identify delinquent accounts.
  • Initiate and maintain consistent communication with customers to follow up on these accounts until payments are received.
  • Make applicable notes on customer accounts as to any pertinent collection activity or customer contact.
  • Identify problems in invoice terms vs. payment terms.
  • Escalate accounts where collectability is uncertain.
  • Collaborate with the cash application team in advising/obtaining remittance information from clients/payors.
  • Help resolve billing and customer credit issues.
  • Research and maintain accurate contact records for all customers.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • You have 1 to 3 years of collections or directly related experience.
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills.
  • You are able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • You pay great attention to details.
  • You are able to collaborate with different teams.
  • You have working knowledge of online systems, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
  • You are skilled at learning new software, i.e. FundThrough’s platform.
